ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

During this 2 hour workshop you will create a one-of-a-kind recycled pamphlet notebook and explore collage using off-prints and colourful paper stocks! You will learn the 3-hole pamphlet stitch to bind your notebook, a technique which can be used as a basis for artist’s bookmaking and zine-making. All materials will be provided, no prior skills or experience necessary. Suitable for ages 16+. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

ABOUT SUNNY BANK MILLS’ PRINT FAIR
This workshop is taking place as part of Sunny Bank Mills' annual celebration of the art of printmaking and book making; featuring a series of workshops, new exhibitions, Open Studios and Leeds’ largest print fair. This year’s Print Festival will take place across the site of Sunny Bank Mills on Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd March 2025. During the weekend, we will be joined by the People Powered Press for a pop-up exhibition and drop-in family workshop, showcasing their recent community projects, created on the world’s biggest letterpress printing press.
