ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

During this 90-minute workshop you will learn how to create your own notebook using Japanese stab binding, colourful paper stocks, marbled paper covers and washi thread. All materials will be provided, no prior skills or experience necessary. Suitable for ages `16+. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

ABOUT SUNNY BANK MILLS’ PRINT FAIR
This workshop is taking place as part of Sunny Bank Mills' annual celebration of the art of printmaking and book making; featuring a series of workshops, new exhibitions, Open Studios and Leeds’ largest print fair. This year’s Print Festival will take place across the site of Sunny Bank Mills on Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd March 2025. During the weekend, we will be joined by the People Powered Press for a pop-up exhibition and drop-in family workshop, showcasing their recent community projects, created on the world’s biggest letterpress printing press.
